Data We Process

AOVIQ processes merchant shop data, funnel configuration, order eligibility snapshots, short-lived post-purchase offer authorizations, and upsell event data needed to provide funnel targeting, analytics, billing state, privacy processing, and app operations.

AOVIQ does not request or store customer name, email, phone, address line, geolocation, zip code, payment card data, or payment credentials.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to evaluate merchant-configured upsell rules, show approved Shopify checkout extension offers, record impressions and offer decisions, calculate analytics, support order diagnostics, and handle Shopify privacy webhooks.

AOVIQ does not sell customer data and does not use customer data for external advertising networks.

Retention And Deletion

Data is retained only as long as needed for app functionality, merchant analytics, billing state, security, and privacy operations. Routine cleanup is controlled by the configured data retention window.

Customer data requests, customer redaction, shop redaction, and app uninstall events are processed through Shopify privacy webhooks.

Security

AOVIQ uses HTTPS for data in transit. Production data storage is operated with encryption at rest as confirmed by the app owner for Shopify review.
